What to expect in a Reiki Session.
Reiki is a non-intrusive and extremely powerful ancient healing technique. Treatment lasts approximately 60 minutes.
During the treatment you lie fully clothed on a therapy bed and the universal life force energy is harnessed and transferred to various key points in your body.
You remove your shoes and your watch.
Note: Reiki is being used in various settings including private practice, complementary therapy centres, GP centres, prisons, and in the care of the elderly.
There is no pressure, making it ideal for treating everyone, especially the very young, elderly, pregnant or recovering from surgery. The whole body is treated not just an isolated area. Most clients are so relaxed they fall asleep and awake reporting a feeling of warmth, peace and well-being.
If mood levels are low, they are lifted.
